On Oct.17, 6 teams of SSPU students from School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering participated in the “Creation Cup” Contest 2021 for Shanghai College Students. Three projects —“Intelligent Recycling and Processing Device for Abandoned Masks”, “Y-Type Vector Tri-rotor Design and Verification Flight” and “Intelligent Ultraviolet Disinfection Robotfor Epidemic Prevention and Control” all won the second prizes. The “Up-and-down-stairs Smart Trolley Box” project won the third prize.

"Creation Cup" for Shanghai College Students, hosted by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and co-organized by Shanghai Creative Studies Institute, aims to inspire students’ passion for science and encourage them to innovate and rise to challenges. Divided into three categories as civil, transportation and environment, machinery and electronics, and design creativity, the contest is open to full-time students in Shanghai’s universities. The entries should be original creations, and combines innovation, practicality and social hot topics.
