SSPU Students Win Second Prize in the Final of China Aeromodelling Design Challenge

On August 17-18, the Final of 2024 China Aeromodelling Design Challenge and National Aeromodelling Championships for Scientific Research was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The “Simulated Net Recovery Technology” project by SSPU student team composed of Cao Yukai, Qin Miaohua, and Jiang Zhenghe from School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering won the second prize in the “Innovation Competition” section. The project was under the guidance of Kang Liang, Deputy Director of Engineering Training and Innovation Education Center.



China Aeromodelling Design Challenge (CADC) is the only innovation competition targeting universities across the country that integrates aeromodelling design, manufacturing, flight and control technologies in China. It is known as one of the top three international aeromodelling design competitions for college students, along with SAE Aero Design in the U.S. and Air Cargo Challenge in Europe. This year’s competition was jointly organized by the Sports Administration Center of Aeronautical Radio Model under the General Administration of Sports of China, Aero Sports Federation of China and Federation of University Sports of China.
